I've got Warp 4.52 on the PC, and Leopard 10.5.2 on the Mac.

The two refuse to see each other; e.g.

/**

The active path is: W:\zb>

your wish ... >net use z: \\G5\peter *
Type the password for \\G5\peter:
NET3502: OS/2 error 58 has occurred.
SYS0058: The specified server cannot perform the requested operation.

The active path is: W:\zb>

your wish ... >help 58

SYS0058: The specified server cannot perform the requested operation.

EXPLANATION: You are attempting an operation that cannot be performed
by the specified server.

ACTION: Make sure that you have specified the correct computer name
and command, then retry the command. If you continue to have problems,
contact your network administrator.

**/

Unfortunately, I am my network administrator ...

Meanwhile, ftp works just fine at CLI and GUI.

any thoughts?

What does "net view \\G5\Peter" show?

The active path is: K:\os2web>

your wish ... >net view \\G5\Peter
The syntax of this command is:

NET VIEW [\\machineID]
[/DOMAIN:name]

The active path is: K:\os2web>

your wish ... >net view \\G5
NET3502: OS/2 error 5 has occurred.
SYS0005: Access is denied.

The two refuse to see each other; e.g.
Netdrive plus the Samba plugin will taalk to a Mac

Unfortunately, I am my network administrator ...
You might be running into a problem I had when our server
was moved behind a firewall.

Windows uses a TCP connection to log into a Windows server.
But OS/2 uses a UDP connection. The windows boxes were able to
log in, but I wasn't. I had the firewall admins open up
the UDP port, and I was able to log in.

If the MAC box won't authenticate over UDP, I think
you're toast.
