hey all

any ideas what might be causing this. There is this website I visit,
but recently I cannot get on it and it is timing out. I've tried to get
on the OS/2 machine's old firefox and win7 laptops's new firefox &
explorer. Both get the connection message error. strangely enough, I
don't have a problem visiting other sites.

the site in question is www.s10planet.com. I'm able to get on at my
work computer. so, the website is indeed up, not down.

WFM. A DNS problem from/at the failing hosts?

Does ping get the ip resolved?

well, go figure. I rebooted the dsl modem & the router. I found that
the win98 machine locked up (I hadn't been using it for quite awhile, it
apparently locked up during defraging) and was rebooted, but I don't
know which device was at fault. I'm now able to access the site.
